In 2021, Muhammad Hashim Gulzar came up with an idea of establishing an organization for the benefits of students. He wanted to organize a platform for the students which will provide them Confidence, Education and Improvement in their Personalities. So that they would be able to stand out in practical life.
For the establishment of the organization, he used to do a lot of research. He wanted to make his idea successful. He looked after all the pros and cons.
In 2022, he concluded that he should make a Charitable Organization. He made a list of the aims for the organization :
* It will provide donations to the Poor.
* It will spread smiles among the special people, the poor and the orphans.
* It will organize competitions among students to build their personalities. (Naat/Qiraat, Speech/Debate, Poetry, Essay writing, Quiz, Photography, and a lot more competitions)
* It will organize seminars for the students to educate them in various aspects. (Educational, Career counseling, Religious and a lot more seminars)
* It will provide the best piece of literature to provide an escape from busy schedules.
* It will provide a lot of material which will be helpful for the education purposes of students.
In 2023, Muhammad Hashim Gulzar and his friends started working on these aims. They approached different students who were interested in the idea of helping people and made a team which started working in the area of Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
Muhammad Hashim Gulzar was given the post of CEO of the organization. The team includes Rimsha Ashraf (Coordinator), Muhammad Usman (Chapter Leader), Irha Mughal (Management Head), M. Junaid Qasim (Social Media Head), Vaneeza Kanwal (Finance Head) and Dua Zahra (Event Organizer), Sania Hashmat (Data Manager).
Then this organization was named as Serenity Organization by Muhammad Hashim Gulzar (CEO) and Rimsha Ashraf (Coordinator). The name is based on the idea of spreading peace, smiles and happiness.
Serenity Organization organized its first competition event on 2nd May, 2023. It was a successful Speech competition which was held at Islamia University Bahawalpur, Pakistan. From that date, Serenity Organization started organizing events in Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
In 2024, Serenity Organization made different teams which are working in their specific domains. The teams include Serenity Supervisors (they manage all the teams), Serenity Muhammadi Team (they manage naat/qiraat competitions and religious seminars), Serenity Speech Team (they manage speech/debate competitions and seminars), Serenity Literature Team (they manage essay writing, poetry competitions, iterature seminars and many more), Serenity Media Team (they cover all the events), and Serenity Welfare Team (they indulge in donation activities, helping the poor, orphans and special people).
Serenity Teams are doing their best in fulfilling the ambitions of the Organization.
