The HEC need based scholarship program is providing financial support to deserving students all across Pakistan. HEC need based scholarship is available in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and FATA.

Availability of Pakistan HEC need based scholarships
The scholarship is available across all provinces of Pakistan including Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and FATA.
- Eligibility Criteria
✓ Students of undergraduate levels at Pakistani universities recognized by HEC.
✓ Applicants must be in financial need. The financial background of the applicant’s family is considered. - Documents Required
✓ Copy of CNIC or B-Form
✓ Income certificate or proof of financial need
✓ Fee structure details
✓ Affidavit - Application Procedure
✓ Visit the official website of the scholarship program to download the application form. (https://www.hec.gov.pk/english/scholarshipsgrants/NBS/Documents/Application-Form.pdf)
✓ Application form can be received from finance office of university.
✓ Complete the application form accurately.
✓ Submit the application along with required documents to the finance office of university. (Not send application to HEC)
✓ Submit the completed application before deadline. - Timeline to Apply
The application timeline is usually in April and May every year. Visit the website frequently. - To apply : Visit finance office of University and visit the website.

The scholarship covers the students of undergraduate/bachelor’s programs of 4 or 5 years including medicine programs. - Ineligibility Criteria
✓ Applicant whose admission is on self finance basis is not eligible.
✓ Applicants availing any other scholarship are not eligible. - Assistance provided
The scholarship covers university fee and Rs.6000/- stipend per month for the complete program.
